Synapse: Offline Note Taking (referred to as "the App" or "Synapse"), developed by FK MUDDASSIR BALOCH, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy details our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our mobile application.

1. No Data Collection (100% Offline)

Synapse is built as an offline-first, local-only application.

Personal Data: We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information, identifiers, or usage statistics.

Note Data: All documents, titles, structures, and linked data created within the App are stored directly on your physical device's local storage utilizing private sandboxed partitions (via secure shared preferences). Your text notes never leave your device.

Network Permissions: The App does not require, request, or utilize internet or network access to process your notes.

2. Device Permissions

The App utilizes standard local file access frameworks (such as the device's secure file storage APIs) strictly to allow you to write, edit, delete, and manage your own documents. These actions are performed entirely in-memory and in sandboxed local directories.

3. User Control & Data Portability

You retain absolute and complete ownership over your data.

Exporting: You can copy a fully-structured, human-readable JSON backup of your entire note vault directly to your clipboard or local text file at any time.

Importing: You can import any previously exported JSON backups to restore your notes directly.

Deletion: You can permanently delete all locally saved notes using the "Wipe Vault" option in the Settings panel. This process is immediate and irreversible.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not integrate with any third-party SDKs, cloud databases, crash-reporting frameworks, advertising networks, or analytics platforms that gather device telemetry or background data.

5. Children's Privacy

Because we collect absolutely zero data from any user, Synapse is fully compliant with children's privacy regulations, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
